Happy New Year! I'm sorry you're having a tough time. Why are you getting off of your pain medication? If it's really tough, can you go slower? I also plan to exercise this year (after having the baby), and I'm dreading it, but it always makes me feel better even though it's painful.

Sending you hugs,

Hello Michele!

I just got back from our last Christmas party, and it was indeed a long day for me. Happy New Year to you too, and I know you will make it off the pain meds….just keep plugging away on it!

Do pop in whenever you can….your family you know!

Take care,

Hi ,even though I still have other illnesses to deal with main cause of my pain is gone ,my surgery worked ,so I need of pain meds .so far Iam down to oxycontin IR 5 and cutting in half,so total of 10mgs aday.I am icecold all the time have little energy but its been tough and Iam considering staying on this level an extra week before another drop. The way I feel is if the pain is gone why be on meds ?I also have IBS and the pain meds cause that to flare up.I do think its better I try to get off the pain meds ,even if its tough ,it will be better for my health in the long run .take care
