I have cut this metal for 35yrs, and there are different blends of Titanium. Some do contain nickel, but Titanium in its pure form does not. Also, Titanium in its pure form is non-magnetic
Stainless steel is the same!....some contains nickel...and others don't. The magnetic field are the same for stainless...some is magnetic...and others are not. I have cut about every type of metal you can think of as a machinist....some of them exotic...and one that can be deadly if you cut yourself with it. (Beryllium Copper) Titanium is a very tough metal, and extreemly lightweight as well. Stainless is also very hard, but weighs quite a bit more compared to Titanium.
...as a side note,...I have seen people buy BBQ grills made out of stainless, only to see it rust a few months later. Yes!....there are different grades of Stainless!
I have provided a site here for you...take a peek at it. The question is a good one for those who are allergic to some of these metals.
