Hi everyone. I sure do miss my chronic pain family. Jerome and I are here at McDonalds, as they have free wifi. He has to push me in my wheelchair about a mile to get us here. We have a coffee shop called Tim Hortons about 1/2 mile closer but their wifi isn't working, so we had to come here. I can't wait till we can get either a router and wireless to work with that or Cricket to plug into one of our computers and share that.

We will be able to do this hopefully by the end of the month. I made an appointment with a new pcp on January 23 I believe it is. I sure hope and pray that this dr will prescribe my pain medications. This dr is in a clinic here in our town that is the same one that my other dr works in, so I'm hoping it makes a difference.

I saw my new psychiatrist last Friday, and I like him. He's really friendly.

How is everyone doing? I'm doing about the same. I've been hurting more the last few days. We got a snowstorm last Friday and got about 6 inches of snow.

Well, I'll go for now. I hope everyone is having a low pain evening.

love and hugs

Hello Loretta....

It's good to hear from you :) I sure feel for you... as my laptop bit the dust... and I was offline for a few weeks. I hope you get connected again soon.

I'm glad you like your new psych... and I hope you like, and get the care you need, from the new PCP.

Things here are just going along, and I try to take things day by day. Each day seems to bring it's new set of challenges :) After a bout w/ the flu, the kids are all on the mend... and the girls are growing like crazy.... they are 16 months old. My health and pain are about the same -- it's more about me continuing to find acceptance that my health is how it is.

That's about it! We miss you and hope to see you connected again SOON. Until then, many prayers for your doctor's appointment...

Hugs, Loretta!... --Tina

Hi Loretta,

You are such a lucky lady that your husband is willing to push you a mile to "talk" to your friends!! I think he must be such a blessing to you! I'm also happy you have found the new Doctors and that they are going to work well for you.

Loretta good to hear you have found a dr that you like & are comfortable with.

Since you are operating off of a laptop, can you get dsl internet service at your home and then you do not need a router. We found this back when we got our first laptop way back when, lol. I had the dsl many years until recently we switched to something different.

Take care.

Thanks everyone. Yes, my husband is a blessing to me. I've got one of the best. We are very careful after dark especially.

DSL sounds like what we had with Cricket, but we have to stick the little thing into the computer, or is DSL something different? Would it provide both laptops with internet or would we have to share? Thanks for the info Suzie.

Wow Tina. I'm so happy that your family is healing from that awful flu. Do you get flu shots? Jerome and I get them, and we haven't had the flu since starting to get them. I know everyone has a different opinion about them. I sure hope that you didn't get the flu with all the health problems that you have.

I can't believe you baby girls are already 16 months old. How time flies. I bet they're into everything these days. I hope your hubby keeps an eye on them as well when he's home.

Michael I sure hope your dr gets his butt busy and gets things started so you can have the trial for the pump.

Everyone take care. I hope everyone is having a low pain evening and days to come. I'll see you guys the next time we can come back here.

love and hugs
