I have arthritis n my hips and lower back from a car accdent I had n 2004 and I am seeing a pan management doctor, but I have had no luck finding one that is strong enough to ease the pain and not make me sick in the process. I have tried the following:

Narco 10/325 - makes me nausiouse, my face turned really red and it blistered up by my eye brows and since I pick at thngs and tweezed all my eye brows,,,,,can't sleep, sweating, feeling hot and it doesn;t help for the pain.

Perciset - Vomiting,  slept and slept and slept....  I have 2 daughters and a Hubby who need. it did work for the pain, I can't sleep away the years.

Suboxone - worked really well for the pain at first and I really thought we had found a match - nut NO, The cold front blew in and the pain went up BUT I started having trouble urinating, I have to push and now I can,t pee at all.

I went back to the Narco because it had the fewest sde effects.....but there has to be something out there that will work.... I am getting shots in my spne and my doctor said I was a candidate for surgery but until we can do that I have to find something to at least make it ok, I would be happy with OK.....

So if anyone out there has has a urinary issue and what else is out there????

THANKS,
Jenna

Hello Jenna and welcome!

I have not tried the meds you use because of the tylanol in them. My Ultracet has it and I can't double dip.....I take the plain oxy ir/the Ultracet (tramadol if you don't want the tylanol)/and Soma for my CP. I have other meds, but these are the ones for CP...

Anyway, there are tons of meds out there and plenty left for you to try. Please stayt away from anything that causes you to blister!!! It could literally kill you if you had a serious allergic reaction and could not get to the hospital in time.

Don't give up and please keep surgery as the very last option (unless your Dr says you absolutely must have it). Even then, I would ask for a second opinion before surgery was done.

I wish you all the best!

Thank you for your reply.... I have taken the Tramodol and Ultram and I can't recal any side effects, but the level of pain meds needed has way surpassed those. I would still love to go back to non-narcotic meds but my pain is to much and it was starting to make me depressed and then suicidal, so I had to get help, I could'nt stand it and it was making me be someone I didn;t like so now what - I guess I just have to keep trying. But as far as surgery goes if it wan relieve my pain and the need for pain killers I am going to do it, I am desperate for pain relief and it was making me crazy, sick. I could only stay in my room and pray for the suffering to end but I had a family that needs me. I have 2 teenage daughters and a husband that deserve me at my best - I need them as well and I will not let the pain win over them. I'll try anything at this point!!!!!!
