I don't recall seeing much of this going on here at the forum by members but we do go through phases when the spammers like to hit all of the forums. Below is rule number 4.

No advertising or links links to advertising or spam is permitted.

Advertising or spam is defined as posting a link for the purpose of selling, soliciting or promoting something.

Links promoting fundraisers, advocacy, ect are not permitted.

Links to personal blogs/homepages are allowed in members profile and signatures.

Sharing of links to helpful and relevant web sites and resources is allowed if they are not for promotional purposes.

Thanks everyone for reviewing and honoring.

When I was on WWer's online the same thing happened.  We had to review each person joining the group because they would randomly join the group and send tons of spam.  It got so bad I had to hide my email address shakehead

Yes, I caught this guy when I logged on. One thing I forgot to mention to members too, is if you will also email the mods here in the CP forum when a spammer shows up we can usually handle the situation fairly quick. The administrator is not always available as quick as one of the mods.
