went back to PCP and she is upping my Cymbalta to 60mg and adding 75mg of Lyrica (she said we can play around with that and up it if we need to)
She is hoping this will help pain and attitude. After switching cold turkey from Zoloft and Welbutrin to Cymbalta my mood swings took a huge nose dive.  But hoping this will help.
Anyone on these meds that can shed any light on how you feel.

Hi Tia, I am assuming these meds were give to you because of Fibro, I saw that you had posted over there. Both of these meds are given for Fibro and from what I have seen in the Fibro forum people have done well on both drugs. It really depends on the person because we do metabolize our meds differently. So something that may help me may do nothing for you. Both of these seem to work well on nerve type pain so hopefully this will give you some relief.

Please let us know how you are doing. Take care...Susie

Hi, I have been on 60 mg of Cymbalta for 6 months in the beginning I felt it was helping but recently have been in way more pain so my pain dr has added Lyrica (75mg) 2 x per day. I am still in the beginning with it and I am noticing upset stomache and my eyes are very blurry.

I wish I could be more help but I am not enjoying the changes but I want to give it a chance to work.
Take care

Lyrica is not used at all for depression or mood changes...only for nerve pain...I'm actually surprised to see Dr.s prescribing this AND Cymbalta to the same patient....but hey....I'm not a Dr. so what do I know...LOL...

I was prescribed Cymbalta for nerve pain many years ago and because I didn't have any signs and had never been diagnosed with depression....It actually started changing my moods for the worse...I had no clue how bad until I went off the medicine and I started to feel again!...

Please make sure that with all these meds a Dr. tirates up AND down if every going off....No one should ever make jumps from one to the other without tirating down....

I can't believe they had you go cold turkey off of Zoloft and Wellbutrin.....

I would urge you to be seeing specialists to get 2nd opinions instead of your primary care...If you have depression....a Pscyhologist/Psychiatrist should be treating you...And for the nerve pain...if it's for fibromyalgia....A Rhematologist is a Dr. who specializes in this....

No offense to a primary care Dr...but they are not specialists in anything and are usually there to treat basic things...I'm surprised that they haven't referred you over...

Again..I'm not a Dr. or medical person...just stating my opinions...

I certainly wish you well and keep us posted...
