Hi and welcome to the chronic pain forum. I am glad that you fund us but sorry that you have to be here.

I suggest that you speak with your dr about getting the correct exercise program that will work for you and not cause further damage to your low back. You can see now that trying to do exercises on your own is not what will work for you. You may also want to ask your dr to put you in a good physical therapy center to help strengthen your back muscles.

I hope that you will keep us posted on how you come along with this. Please take care...Susie

Hi, I am nini53/Kathy, I agree that you should ask your doctor as exercise is very difficult to do with bad disc's.
I am curious about your name, in the time of the crusades there was a great leader of the Muslims named (excuse the spelling) Salahedine, he fought along time and retook the city of Jerusalim (again excuse the spelling) when he regained the city, unlike the Christians who killed everyone inside the city when they had regained to city before Salahedine came to take it back, he allowed all inside  to leave peacefully.  I have always admired him as a Muslim leader.  I am not sure this will make it to you as it involves religion, but not really, its actually history, it just happens to be religious history.
So back to your back, please get advise from your doctor before doing any excercise, if you do not it could do you harm, and you dont want that.
good luck and take care,
