I haven't been on in a really long time but i read alot of posts just barely post any. I would like to start again as maybe it will help me some to get out what I'm going through. So on that note I will bring things to speed by saying that I have pain 24/7. Very tired and my sleep is so messed up right now i sleep during the day and up at night. I have had pain for over 6 years or so now. Everything I do brings on more pain. Rest to much, house clean to much as so on. I know it's the cycle which I have tried to break but without success. I am waiting to hear back from the pain clinic again as I am frustrated that the Tylenol is not very effective anymore and I have tried other meds. Anyway I have had nerve blocks and epidurals before with little success but I am desperate to get even if I can get an hour of pain relief it would be awesome. I'm also waiting to get into PT however it;s been almost three years as they are so far behind on seeing people that i haven't gotten in yet. I see my doc on every three months or so and she is great very understanding but I don;t think she really knows how much pain I am in as I try to put on a good front of others. Will post more later thanks for listening to me. Need to try to get some sleep now.

Hi Twiggy,

Welcome....back! I don't know if we ever "knew" each other - but I've definitely seen your name here on the board. I'm glad you jumped back in and I look forward to getting to know you.

Have you tried other meds to help w/ your pain, especially if the Tylenol #4 isn't working any longer. Is your doctor willing to explore other medication options?

We've talked about the whole sleep thing a lot here lately. It's so crucial to sleep, for our bodies to "repair" during sleep... but most of us have chronic insomnia, too. You might want to read some of the current threads about sleep, as they've been helpful to me.

I also suffer from anxiety and depression, along w/ my CP and other health issues.

Anyway, just a note to say "welcome back"....! Look forward to getting to know you... --Tina

Twiggy sorry to hear you are feeling so poorly. Did I read this correctly it takes 3 yrs to get into physical therapy??? Where do you live? I don't know when you are scheduled to see your dr again, but if its not any time soon, I would start a pain journal and take this with you to the next appt. Perhaps that will get the drs attention that you need some help. I do hope things will calm down for you and soon.

Take care.

Hello Mom8 is ok to call you that? If not that;s cool thanks for the welcome back I have tried oxycodone, hydromorph, bad side effects from the oxy and some relief with hydromorph. The meds work for a bit then I seem to quickly get used to them and they are no longer helpful. I will take a look a the sleep posts>

Have you any suggestions as to what I should put in it like level of pain, time of day etc. Take care to all and LP days to all....
