I just want to know how long did anyone wait to get their stimulator implant surgery after their trail stimulator surgery was removed ? It's been almost 2 weeks since I had my trail removed & I really want to get my implant already .

Chinosdesigns I have deleted one of your posts, you have posted the same question 3 times and duplicate posting is against the forum rules. Its a little early still, but sit tight someone should come along. My question is what has your drs office told you about this? They would be the one to answer this question since they are making the arrangements. Depending on how busy the office is and how quick they can get approval with your insurance. There is a lot that goes on behind the scenes.

Try to be patient and take care.

Hi Chinos,

I had my trial done with 'permanent' leads - so my trial was never removed as such. I made the decision to go ahead with the permanent implant after a week-long trial, and they just disconnected the trial stim and implanted the permanent one.

If my trial had had been unsuccessful or I'd not wanted to go ahead for other reasons, they'd just have removed the leads.
