Good news is we got the new power supply and computer is up and running, bad news is,
well my eye pain has gotten worse over the last few months, and I have scar tissue in
my eye's and they are infected, doctor put an eye plug into my right eye lower lid
two weeks ago and it was gone today, normally these eye plugs last for over a year
but my eye's are that dry...Today he place in 3 eye plugs both upper ones and redid
the right lower eye and a new script for eye ointment, I can't tell you how
bad my eye's hurt daily as it'd shock most people...and these eye plugs he placed in today
were given to my eye doctor by an eye surgeon, so I'm really hoping these will work
and last me for a longer time frame, and he also said to limit my computer time now,
and well last week I had limited computer time and heck my eye's are still bad....
So I might have to be gone more often now....This is all so frustrating, my
hubby works all day over a computer and yet I use it for a couple of hours and
my eye's are worse than his, just wonderful mad I use heat compressess, many many eye drops
and even hard boil eye's for heat relief and even then my eye's hurt cry it's just
not good all around and my back pain is on the rise too, and not getting sleep...
I would love one day without the shooting pain going down my legs and no eye pain.
It's just so hard....Nerve testing is next Monday 27th Feb and almost can't wait for that to be done....
and I also go for monthly saline treatments due to dryness (sjogren's)...this is crazy

Hey Chart,

I'm so sorry to hear how you are having so much trouble and pain with your eyes...Something we all take for granted....

I hope that the new plugs will last longer..

We certainly miss you when you aren't here but completely understand that you can only use the computer so much because of this issue...

As you said...it seems like it is always something...we start to get a handle on one thing...and then wham...here comes another...

Thanks for updating us...and glad you at least have power now to come online now and then...

Certainly will be praying the nerve tests go well and that your eyes start to improve and the pain lessens...

Sending you some hugs (( ))

Hey Chart....

Sorry you are dealing w/ your eyes :( I would be very frustrated, too. Like SB said - if it's not one thing for many of us, it's another!

I hope your eyes get better... and let us know about your nerve tests. Take good care! --Tina

Hi Chart, gosh so sorry to hear things are not going so well for you. Yes, eye pain must be pretty bad. I sure hope they eye plugs work for you. Can you explain what they are and how they are placed as I have never heard of that before.

I hope you will feel even just a little bit better very soon.
Hang in there.

Hey Chart
I'm sorry your having such a rough time. Must be very frustrating. I wish I could offer some advice but I don't have any experience with eye problems. I will however say a prayer for you and hope the new plugs will do a great job and relief at least some of the pain. Hang in there (((Chart))). All my best.

Hi, Chartreux,
I just stopped in briefly and had to read your post. I'm so sorry for what's happening with your eyes. That must be very scary, among many things.

Won't make this long but I wondered if you could get some kind of text to speech computer program (I'm not a techie so maybe someone else knows more) so you could close your eyes and still participate in the forum - or any other computer activities you want.

Hugs,
PaLady

Oh Chart, I am sorry to read this. Check into the programs for the computer PALady mentioned. Speech recognition software has come a long way, and is even being used for medical records by doctors across the country.

I am praying for you.

Chart, it seems like when it rains, it pours for you for some reason. Sure hope things straighten up real quick.
