Don't know if anyone remembers me, but I am back for awhile anyway.  Been dealing with bunches of pain as of late and haven't been online that much.  I will try to keep in touch with ya'll, but as all of you well know when it comes to pain, its hard to keep online when you hurt. :-)
Anyway, things have been going okay, I guess...just keeping (or trying to) appts., hate the painful days and winter is the worst in the chain of painful days that each of us suffer through.  Got two new puppies, as I lost two over the past few months....Shadow our black lab and Remi our yellow lab.  Remi had cancer and suffered bad....Shadow, suffered horribly in her last two days of her life and I miss both of them terribly.
Anyway, just keeping appts. and trying to keep the pain down with excerises and distractions and enjoying my two new baby puppies....Annie, our Bichon and Dakota our English Toy Spaniel.
Hugs to all.. and hopes that each of you are enjoying lessened pain days.

Hi Vickie
Welcome back. Not sure if we have met before or not. My memory is good but really short.
Sorry to hear about your dogs. They become members of the family and I know how it feels to loose them. Anyway all the best and again welcome back.

Vickie so good to have you back and hope you can get the pain level down. Wow, two puppies, lol, I am sure those two keep you busy, they are like taking care of toddlers.

I have two grown dogs and there are some days they run me ragged. We have been having warm weather so naturally they want to run in and out all day long.

Keep us posted on how you are doing, take care.

Hey and welcome back!

We've missed you! I'm sorry that your pain has been out of control and that you have lost your beloved pets. It is so hard to watch them suffer and so hard to loose them (because they are members of the family).

I am in awe that you were able to take in two new puppies at the same time! We got a new baby pomeranean at Christmas. I love her and she is wonderful with learning tricks, but I have to admit I call her "devil dog" a lot of the She has that high pitched toddler scream like Straydog was saying....and she is in to everything.

We use bitter cherry spray (completely safe and smells great too) to keep her from chewing on furniture and things and it works great. We also let her sleep in her baby crib and she has decided that is her "comfort area" now, so that is helping keep the carpet less damaged. We keep a puppy pad in one corner and she uses that in between trips outside. The bowels are now under control, but the bladder is driving us nuts about now.

I hope your new babies are doing well and are letting you rest a little.

I've missed you and am very happy to see you back.

Hi Vickie! I've been gone for awhile too. I'm really sorry to hear about your pups - I know how much it hurts to lose them - they ARE members of our family and we definitely grieve when they go. But I'm sure your new pups help to lessen the pain and their goofy 'puppy antics' make you laugh and as we all know, laughter can do wonders for our spirits and our pain. Welcome back! :-)
