This morning was the worst (even though its the second time this is happening), I was woken up by a throbbing, stabing pain behind my left eye. It got a bit better when I put pressure on it and tried to massage it! I took  mild paracetamol (Panado- since I am breast feeing) eventualy fell back into a deep snooze and woke up fine (well just experienced my normal sinus attack)
Does anyone know what could be wrong with me? I am 26 year old mommy!

Hi headrush,
And welcome to healing well. I see that this is the first post for you, so I am very happy you are here and I wanted to welcome you. There are so many people on this forum that are caring and helpful. Please know we care.
I also invite you to read the rules at the top of the forum's main list. They are very informative and helpful for newcomers.
I would really suggest you go see your doctor and get evaluated for that pain. You don't know what's going on in your head and you don't want something drastic to happen to you. You have a little one who so needs you now.  I do not want to alarm you, but pain anywhere is signaling that something may be wrong.  It's better to be on the safe side.  Being a retired nurse, that's what I would recommend.
Please come back and post to let us know how you are doing.  I ,personally, would like to hear a little about the new baby as well.  Let us get to know you and you will get to know us.
My name is Linda and I have fibromyalgia and chronic back pain.  I have been here on Healing Well since 2006 and I love the forums and the chat rooms.  I find the people here to be womderul.  I can't say enough positive things about all the folks here!
Wishing you well,
God bless.

My guess, problem within the eye itself- see eye doc, or........ocular migraine. It can occur without a headache. shocked

Could potentially be uveitis or iritis, among other things.
Conditions: Reactive Arthritis (AKA Reiter Syndrome), Chronic Pelvic Inflammatory Syndrome, Sacroiliitis, Costochondritis, As Yet Unknown MS-Like Relapsing/Remitting Neuropathy, mysteriously variable digestive issues, and a partridge in a pear tree.

I will most definately see a doc for this but my problem is it dissapears when morning comes, my worry is the Dr's might not see anything??? confused
