I've been missing in action due to internet problems at home. Hopefully everything is ok now.
So I have a lot of reading to catch up on.
I want to welcome all newbies to our forum.
Perhaps everyone could check in here and give an update.
Hope you are all coping as best as possible.
Myself, pretty much the same, never any relief from this massive continuous headache.

…glad to see you got your internet problems worked out.

I myself, have not been well for quite some time, but decided I needed to get back here and support as best I can. rolleyes

Oh I went thru this for about three months last year and finally we went with a different type of internet and then my desktop computer went south. I took it in and had it fixed, brought it home, plugged it in would not work!! Took it back to the guy, watched him hook it up to his stuff worked like a champ. Came back home and did a few things and it started working just fine. Well, it crapped out again here not long ago, same problem. I bought myself a laptop and it works fine. I think the new 2-wire box has a glitch in it, the phone company came out & checked it when it was working so naturally they found nothing wrong. The problem comes & goes you never know when its going to happen.

So, I really do hear ya about the internet problems, lol. Oh, I would get so upset.

thank you for the welcome back my friends
so far so good, i am sure it will stick
i sure hated not having my connection

chart i am so sorry you are having such a rough go of things
seems like it's been a while for you now
you sure need a break and sooner rather than later, right!!
hang in there, ok

myself, well it has been tough
i just can't seem to catch a break
as many of you know, it's been a twelve year struggle and there is nothing that gives me relief
i just keep ice on my head all the time, not much else i can do
some days i can cope better than others but this week has not been good
i am seeing a new pain doc on the 27, it was cancelled this past tuesday unfortunately
i hope he has something up his sleeve for me to try that i have not already tried
i am also looking into the occipital nerve stimulator
i have read so many positive outcomes of those who have had this surgery for headaches
it does give me hope but at the same time I don't want to set myself up for another disappointment
i've had so many of those
i have even found a facebook group of those who have had the ONS and it is enlightening to read all their posts
i have a call in to medtronics to find a contact in canada, they haven't called me back so i will put another call in to them today
i just can't imagine what it would be like to have no headache or even a lower level of pain for that matter
even a 25% relief would be most welcomed
of course along with such high levels of pain come more depression, just another battle to fight on a daily basis
thank goodness for my hubby who keeps me sane and helps me to keep on fighting, along with my immediate family and a few very special friends

one day at a time is all we can do right

welcome to all the new members, it's great to see so many newcomers
i do wish that some of our oldies would come back but it is understandable with all that we struggle, many members come and go for different reasons.

i hope you can all have a reasonable weekend

hope to hear from more of you
