Betsey!….here is a very heart felt and warm wish for you! "Good Luck" with the surgery today! yeah yeah

I know you have been planning this for a very long time, and I know you are ready!….In fact you have to be one of the most prepared people I know! smilewinkgrin

… simmer down….let the lights go out with a smile on your face! ….and then…."Presto!"….you will wake up with a brand new "Bionic Knee!" tongue

OK!…again Good Luck!….and give me a holler when you feel like a little chat.

Take care,

your buddy,

SE wink

I think she leaves for the Hospital somewhere around 2pm or so….and surgery should be at 5:30pm

Betsey....We are all praying for you today!! Just know that it will be rough for the first weeks or month after the surgery but it will be worth it in the long run to get that new knee!! I have 3 friends and one relative that have had this done on one or both knees and they are so happy now that they have less pain and are active again even playing tennis and golf!!

Just make sure you speak up again today with the Anesthesiologist about your nausea and go over the pain meds you take now and that you are concerned about pain control afterwards...

Don't worry about rushing to update us....just get back online whenever you feel up to it....Just follow Drs. orders!!...

Sending some hugs (( ))

Just a quick note to let you know you are in my thoughts today - my prayers for an uneventful, "easy" surgery... and that you heal quickly.... and that it does what it's supposed to do!

Take care - and update us when you can....

Betsey, said she would probably hit the recovery room at about 9pm…and would give me a call Saturday for a quick update if she was able to do so.

She said she would not have internet access…so a phone call will have to suffice. I will update as soon as I know more on her.
