...well!....I came home Friday night...and mowed...and still could not get it all done...but close! shakehead
...after that I hit the sack...and was out for at least 12 to 14hrs....and pretty much spent the rest of the weekend in bed....still fighting a cold of sorts...and whatever else is getting me down...pain and all.
...feeling pretty crummy right now....but we can't let that get me down!...will finish mowing tonight if I can....summer brings way too much yard work for us.

My weekend was more of the same.... trying the new meds that the doc gave me... and realizing they do nothing to help me. Trying to remain positive but it's difficult.

It's Spring Break around here so I've got a house full of kiddos, lol... although two of mine are gone on a missions trip. They are sleeping in cardboard boxes.... basically, living the life of a homeless person for the week, while also doing work in the community. I think they will both learn a lot from it

But, with everyone off of school, all the neighborhood kids tend to flock to my house. Which is fine - because I'd rather have them here - but it just makes for more chaos :)

The girls - though incredibly cute and lovable - are at that age where they are a tornado. Seriously, the little energy I have is spent trying to "undo" the damage they do, lol.

Speaking of which - I need to go try to make sense of this house of mine.... :) I hope you all are doing ok today and have the best week possible.

I was at a conference through the end of last week and the weekend.

I made it through two full three hour sessions and a few other paper here and there. But for the most part I met with individual collegues whose research overlaps mine.

Travel was painful, but it wasn't as bad as my last trip for some reason. I returned home in only a modest amount of pain and am doing o.k. today. More than anything else, I'm just darned tired.

I was able to get a few hours of writing done in the morning, but am now feeling out of steam.

I didn't get much done on Saturday like I usually do, so that was disappointing...Searching the house today for Dental
papers to fill out our taxes...and we are not usually this late with taxes...Anyone have any old cross-stitch patterns,
I'm looking for Beatrix Potter baby samplers, as I want to redo my daughter's birth sampler....just wondering...
I'm looking forward to getting my haircut tomorrow, just a simple haircut and do need that...and
fingers crossed that I'm over strep and can get my procedure scheduled for sometime in May....
Sure hope everyone has a good week....many well wishes...

Good morning all,
Hanging in there one day at a time, mood has been low, pain, well never a dull moment, that's for sure.
Still researching the ONS, and looking for doctors who do this in Canada. So far I have found one in Ontario, but my appt. is not until the end of Nov. He seems to be the only one in Ontario that i have found. It is covered by Ontario Health Insurance so it is best to stay in Ontario to have it done if i am a candidate.
Had a nice weekend with the kids and grandkids for Easter. Busy and noisy, which makes it tough for me, but i do love to spend time with my grandkids.
Taking a train trip this week to visit my brother and his wife, a much needed time away, just for me.
Appts today, get my hearing aid checked, orthodontist, chiro, knitting group at church this afternoon. Way too busy. Must bring my ice with me.
Take care all

Still "kicking" so to speak.

Last Friday about all I got done was a little bit of laundry to make sure everyone had something decent and clean to wear for the trip to the in laws on Saturday and colored some eggs with my son for Easter.

Saturday made the 250 mile round trip to the in laws. Had a decent time there but the trip was murder on my back and legs. Late Sat night I played Easter bunny and hid candy and things around the house so my kid could have an "egg hunt" Sunday morning.

Sunday after the egg hunt did not do much at all. Simply too sore after the trip. I did make the decision to hire out the mowing this year. All I have left is a push mower and after simply walking around the yard for 10 minutes the other day I forced myself to accept there is not way I can handle pushing the mower.

This week I am just planning on relaxing as much as possible. The kid is on spring break so I don't have to get up early to get him ready and take him and then make sure I am up in the afternoon to go pick him up.

My weekend was not good...The Arthrotec that I stated on Saturday made me really sick, won't go into details, but I had to stop it. Yesterday morning was the last dose I took and it seems to finally be out of my system. Today was the first day I was able so shower and get some groceries.

The Nucynta finally came into the one and only pharmacy around me that carries it and I picked it up today...So far it seems to be helping a bit, but doesn't last very long. But, this was just my first dose, so hopefully it will improve.

I hope everyone had a great weekend & Easter!
