Hello All,
I just wanted to drop a quick note to let you all know I was taking another break from the board again for a little while.  There is no need to post any reply to this as it is just informative and only posted to let you know I am not in any way angry, resentful, unhappy, or anything else negative toward the board or any of its members.  I simply get too caught up and can't seem to stay off of the computer when I need to be doing other things.
I'm one who has to break away completely for a while or jump in with both feet.  I don't do well with breaking my time up into smaller increments.
I "may" drop in at night if I am not sleeping and check on everyone, but hopefully I can kick my HW habit for a while and concentrate on some needed things here at home that I have been letting go of lately.
I hope everyone has some painfree days ahead and will "see" you all again when I get back from my HW vacation (as I like to call it).
I'm sure all of you understand the need to change the pace for a while when you get into a rut and I honestly need to be taking my extra time to work on things at home instead of sitting in a recliner typing on my computer all day long.
Thanks for everything and I look foward to seeing you all again soon.

Hi Retiredmom, I know you said there was no reason to reply to your post, but just hoping you are well I mean as well as we can be.  I want you to know you are not alone, I to am an all or nothing kind of person.  It has been a thorn in my side for years.  I get caught up and want to solve all the problems in the world, well, I am not doing a very good job of that, so I think I will slow down and start listening the voice in my head tellin me to slow down and deal with problems one at a time.
Good luck, ,
and hope you are feeling well, take care

Hi RM. I understand. I have been taking a break for a long time, because of everything else, but I also plan to come back one day. Right now everything is just very busy, and then my ridiculous pain...Anyway, I always enjoy reading your posts, and I hope to see you again soon.

Hello Retiredmom!….Hope you get to read these replies at some point…it shows that we do care….and we do consider you a part of the life long family here. wink

..I,…and many here understand the needing to take a break every once in a while. At times we may not think we need it…but in the long run I think it is healthy and needed. I have been taking my share of breaks lately…but trust me it has been needed. At times I have a sense of guilt….but now that we have added a couple or three new moderators….it has helped. I'm so very grateful that Laura and Tina have joined our team! However, they too struggle like the rest of us….and while I'm thinking of it….I would like to thank Straydog for filling in as we all struggle. She is a tough cookie and a cornerstone of this forum!

…so!…take your break…and there is nothing wrong with looking in every once….but I have personally found that you need to completely take a break…and stay away….not even a good lurk! smilewinkgrin

Enjoy your time off…recharge your batteries….and of course…you are always welcome back……...again, your are family! wink

Take care,

SE wink

I think its healthy to take a break from the forum. Sometimes we can get too wrapped in CP and thats not good. I am with SE, its good to recharge the batteries from time to time.

RM, try not to overdo with all of the renovating that is going on in your home, thats a tough one to call though, unless you are hiring out all of the work. Take care & we will see you when you return......Susie
