Hello all, I had a call this morning at 9 am.  A friend of mine who is 2 years younger than me has passed away.  I had to ask again to the friend who called me, what did you say, I just talked to him yesterday.  I have been friends with Harry since Sara was almost 3 years old.  There was a group of us living in the same apt. complex, and we have all remained friends thru the years.  He called me "blondie", although he knew my name of course, if he had called me anything but blondie, I would have wondered what was wrong with him.

I am stunned, sad, and I say to all out there, make sure the people you love know you love them.  Life, is well I dont know, but I know this, I always tell my children and grandchildren each and every day that I love them.  Sometimes more than once a day.  You just never know, and it doesnt take anything to say those words.  I am glad I told Harry yesterday, that I loved him, we were never anything more than friends, but he was an important person in our lives, we watched our children grow up.

Take care all, and always tell your loved ones you love them, you never know the last time you talk to them is really the last time you talked to them.

Ok I am off, as I am sad and starting to babble.

Kathy I am so very sorry for your loss, loosing someone close is always hard. I am so glad you had a chance to express your love as very few people do when talking to a friend, it's always talk to you tomorrow, or take it easy see you soon.

Rest and look after yourself, again my condolences.
Take care
Rose

Kathy, I am so sorry for the loss of your dear friend. I learned a long time ago (the hard way) to always make sure that the people I care about, know how I feel. I tell my boys, several times a day, that I love them. I always let them know that I am proud of them and they know that they are the best thing that ever happened to me. My thoughts are with you during this difficult time.....

Kathy,
Sorry for your loss. I fully understand about making sure we tell our loved ones we love them. I just lost my last uncle on my dad's side and his oldest son just passed 2 weeks later. I had to go back down home twice in 2 weeks for funerals.

Take care,
Bill

Kathy hugssss

We're grieving together. Yesterday my foster brother's nephew died from heart attack (his second one within 4 months) and he was only 12.
My foster brother is taking care of him up there in Heaven, as Kory was killed in Iraq in 2007, alonside another soldier and Kory's son (a son of four legs) Cooper.
On Feb 29 my step mother passed, followed weekly of other family passing of aunt, uncle, grandmother, aunt. My grandmother and one of the aunts passed on the same day.
When I lost Kory nearly 5 years ago, I went in denial. I just couldt believe he was gone. I kicked myself mentally because he and I had a fight before he left for Iraqi War. I didn't want him to join the ARMY, because I didnt want anything to happen to him. If I would of known he was going to be killed I would of hugged him, told him I loved him.
Itt is soo important to tell your loved ones you loved them. I didn't realize that til Kory died. My last words with my grandmother was I love you, and she replied "I love you too". I only got to tell Kory that in my dreams. I have been dreaming of Kory, dreams of the explosion. I had classified information confirmed.

I am soo sorry for your loss. Please keep one foot in front of the other. One day at a time. It what I am doing.

Just want to thank one and all, and to remember, it does not harm anyone to say "I love You",  I am on the crazy laptop so I will keep this short.

Thanks all, once again everyone has helped me out of feeling very low.

I love you all for being there,
Kathy
