I'm back from my small HW vacation. I've been lurking some and gave up an posted on at least one occasion.
I'm doing better on my meds for now and even had a wonderful day out with my daughter this weekend. It was a nice day! I do have to admit that I slept for 5 hours straight when I came home (in the chair) and then went directly to bed...where I slept through the night and only got up a couple of times before about 9:00 the next morning. It's been a long time since I had a nice day out :)
My general contractor says my house should be ready in two days (I'm betting closer to by Friday) and that we should be able to move back in to all of the house by this weekend!!! I only wish there was more money to pay for this because we are so broke that it's hard to deal with figuring out how to pay. I'm hoping I can set up some type of payment schedule with my step-father for the balance (which I'm praying will be lower than I'm betting it will). Also, I found a new lady to help me with cleaning and I'm thrilled with that. She seems to be a good, honest person who has fallen on hard times and wants to earn what she can to make it. She will be helping me with the "big" stuff one day a week and helping my mother and step-father with the same things. Since we have very little carpet left in the whole house, it hopefully won't be as bad to keep up. We also put the new dog as an outside dog too. It turns out the "lady" who sold her to us LIED about the breed of dog (despite the registration). We're not sure exactly what she is, but she is too big for a pomeranean and looks more like an actual minature white sheppard. I don't know how big she will get at all. She's so much happier outside and so are we!
Well, that's about all in RetiredMom world. I am in the frame of mind to get my life back together and get my home back together. I need to do more to put myself back together and quit sitting around feeling pathetic. Even getting dressed makes me feel better....I'm sure you all understand.
Hope you all had a nice weekend!
