My wife had a medtronic neurostimulator implanted last june (2011).  within three weeks a new sympton of rectal burn and pain began.  There was three attempts to reprogram the unit with little success.  As time has gone forward the pain is very severe and the Dr. Who implanted the device states he does not know what to do about it and refuses to treat her pain with meds or even do any test to make a diagnosis.  I pulled medical records of the surgery and found that he was unable to implant a second lead during surgery and just went with one lead of which he never informed us.  I am desperate to help her and jumping through all kinds of hoops while she has been bed ridden with this pain since January.  My question is will this device work with one lead and looking for options.  Thanks for listining
