Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone has any weekend plans for Memorial Weekend?

Myself, I'm looking forward to a 3-day weekend. Two days is just not enough to get everything done in my household! The twins have never been to the zoo - so we might do that on Saturday.... church on Sunday.... and just hanging out, etc. on Monday.

I'm SO looking forward to the kids finishing school.... the boys have various camps to go to this summer.... taking the girls swimming (they were too little last year).... etc.

Anyway, just checking and seeing if anyone has anything planned for this weekend.

Nothing too big going on here this weekend.

Hoping to take the babes to Toys' R Us to spend his gift cards and birthday coupons!

And hopefully having a play date with my friend Katie so we can talk about her upcoming surgery and get her kids together with my babes. He wants to play with other kids so bad, it is too cute!

I would love to take him to the pool in my village (it isn't a city, it's a village, haha) but I am sure it will be VERY busy!

What kind of camps are the boys going to? I am very intrigued!

I hope your family enjoys the warm and fun sounding weekend!

Tina we had our long week end last weekend, we did not do much, I watched hubby mow the lawn and since he was home for all those days he cooked and did laundry.
Take care

Kathyrn,

I see that your little one just turned one year.... that's such a sweet age.

The boys are all involved in a group that is, essentially, like Christian boyscouts. They've learned so much. Last year, my 16 year old went to Aviation camp and learned to fly a plane. One of them did a canoeing trip to Canada that was awesome. My younger ones will be going to the camps this summer - and my older ones volunteer as counselors. It works out great.

Boys hold such a special place in their mom's heart. And I've learned tons from being the mom to boys. That being said, it's exhausting having 4 teenagers in the house, lol. There are days that I want to run away - haha.

Have a good weekend w/ your family, too.

Grandmaroses,

I hope, for you, that you will be relaxing and letting others do for YOU this weekend, lol. You deserve it and absolutely need it. I'm glad that your hubby helped w/ the cooking and laundry.

Take care of yourself and let us know how you are doing....

We were going to take our motorhome on its maiden voyage to stay at our local dirt track for 2 nights of racing but we didnt get it back from the mechanic yet. He cant get the rusted tubes off from the the air blower...emission stuff...He is hoping to get it finished today.

If he doesnt finish it I want to take it to the track anyway. All motels are booked. It will be safe enough to drive.

I will see what the next 12 hours bring.

Not doing anything exciting here this weekend.

Hubby is mowing the lawn tomorrow. Well it'll depend on how tired he is when he gets home in the morning. He works his 12 hour overnight shift tonight.

Taking the kids to the racetrack on Sunday to watch Day of Destruction.

The kids aren't big into going to the parade anymore, so Monday we're just going to hang out here and BBQ. And then help my youngest work on her diorama for school. And help my son work on some of his matrices for school.
