Hi Tina :)

I'm doing ok and my weekend was too short as I had a 6 day work week. With that being said, it seems my pain is a bit more "spread" on the RA side, but the medial branch pain has been at normal levels and is still well controlled with the Nucynta/Soma/Ibuprofen combo. I've also been taking some Tylenol with Caffeine at times as I've had a few migraines, but tolerable ones at least :)

Well, good news, the last test lidocaine injections (4 total times, 3 shots, 2 sessions each side) have been completed, so I'm ready for my next Radio Freq which should provide some additional relief :)
MRI revealed disc bulge and test injections revealed RA. Radio Freq procedures helped for months, but pain is up and im having the procedure done again. Currently on 75 mgs of Nucynta (tapentadol - A MOR + NRI) 2 to 3 time per day and Soma 350 as needed.

My weekend was pretty miserable.

I had that surgery last Wednesday and felt pretty good. Thursday not so much and it just got worse over the weekend. I think I just pushed myself too far doing too much. Would have also been nice if hubby and the kids would have helped a little.

Feeling sore but better today. Haven't heard from the surgeon on the biopsy results, but my primary got the results this morning and let me know the tumor was benign. Only nice thing with having it gone is I've lost 7lbs. lol

Hopefully being set up with a new MRI as my back has been killing me. Not sure if things are worse or if its just the weather or a combination of the 2. As of last night in 26hours we'd gotten 5 inches of rain. And its still raining and doesn't appear its going to let up until Thursday. And I still need to get my RFA rescheduled. I wish we had a couple of extra days in the week.

Not alot going on here. Our 2nd oldest has her 8th grade semi formal dance on Friday. Then the last day of school is a half day on the 13th.

Hi, I had a super weekend with family, I overdid it but I really needed to see family. I woke up during the night because hubby woke me saying I was being too noisy, hmmmm. I rolled over and realised I had been crying in my sleep because I was in so much pain. I took a couple of oxy and eventually went back to sleep. I woke up very sore but thought if I moved around it would help.
It took until 11 to feel like moving again so I figured I would do a small amount of gardening I had to plant 4 hanging half baskets so now I am inside again. The planters took me almost 3 hours I used to do them in a half but I am walking slower. I did no lifting but had to ne a little to reach the new soil.
Guess what I am so sore right now I am crying again, my back is in spasms and I can barely move at all. Another lesson for me STOP I was hoping to get all the bedding plants put out but I guess my hubby will have to do that too.
Sorry for the long post.i think when hubby gets home I am going to try a bath.
Take care
Rose

GOS - good to hear from you....!

Tina (justanotherday) - so glad to hear that your tumor was benign - that's a relief. Hope your sore throat feels better and you continue to heal.

Rose - sorry you overdid it :( I know it's hard not to... but I hate to hear of you in tears from the pain :(

As for me, it was another busy weekend. I'm tired today from it. School ends for everybody next week - so trying to tie up a bunch of loose ends. It was close to 90F here yesterday.... and today it is raining (California). Go figure.

We took our motorhome for a trial run one day camping trip. Generator died, couldnt light the pilot light on the stove, and the fridge wouldnt work on propane either. The propane tank was full, but couldnt get gas inside the motorhome. I was the only one to pack it to get ready for the trip and pack to leave the speedway to go home.

The levelers got stuck in soft soil and i was the one using the claw hammer on them scraping the grassy soft soft away from the levelers.

My knee was killing me.I did 3 loads of dirty laundry and cooked a full couse of supper. I went to bed at 7:00 pm sunday and slept until 10:30 pm that night. husband kept coming in and waking me. I stayed up for one hour and went back to bed.

I got up at 5:00 am and washed my hair in the kitchen sink. Made me feel human!

I hurt so bad. I see my ortho doc on tuesday.

My body has decided to throw migraine-like hedaches into the mix on top of everything else, so been very miserable the last couple of days. I also had 5 hours yesterday without the use of my left arm due to rigid spasm. Tkicked in getting jolted in the car when Mum took me to see my GP about my head and because I've never had migraines before he was trying to do a fairly thorough neuro exam on me as well. Every time he touched me or tried to get me to move myself, my whole body would start jerking and twitching.

I've never had that degree of hyperreflexia before...and he's never encountered it in his readings of CRPS...so wants me to see a neurologist ASAP because he's concerned that we're missing something. My PM actually *is* a neuro... but he wants me (and PM has agreed via very quick email exchange I had with him last night) that I need a second opinion from someone who is actively practicing neurology as a speciality. I'm scared...and I feel so sick :-(

That sounds horrible, Laura... and I don't blame you for being scared.... I've not heard of that either. I'm glad the doctor is being aggressive though. PLEASE keep us updated...

Sending you thoughts and prayers.... I sure hope you feel better - and they can figure out what's going on.

Love, Tina

Hi Lisa,
Right now I am just do dang tired all the time. I have finally "slipped" out of a bipolar mixed state that was allowing me to "feel no pain"- but also had my brain running at such a clip thy I couldn't hardly catch-up to think or function. Now I am just worn out and I want to sleep. Ive slept through my morning meds for 2 days now - I go ahead and take them when I wake, but it means I take 2 total doses a day instead of three. I feel like that is going to bite me in the butt later.
Right now I just want to sleep.
