We won't be keeping the Cricket internet because it doesn't work very well. It's really aggravating and a pain to even deal with it. I think the service we paid for ends Wednesday. We will be going to McDonalds until we can find another option. Our neighbor next door has internet, and we're going to see what she has because it's WIFI like they have at the restaurant and it works so much better. I'll let you all know when we have found a replacement. I'll still try to welcome new members and reply to my family. Everyone take care. I hope you all have a low pain week.

love and hugs

My dear friend

So sorry to hear that you wont have internet at your house again.  I would have withdrawel symptoms if my computer went down.   Lol

How far is McDonalds from your house?  I forgot.

Let us know what you end up with as far as your internet.  What about dial up services like net zero.

How is your pain level?  Mine is up to an 8.  I see my ortho surgeon today  for him to examine my new knee.

Keep in touch my dear friend and let us know how you are making out.
Betsey

Loretta, I have Uverse which is a wireless connection and its through AT&T phone company. I still have a land phone too, lol, so we have internet, dish tv and land line as a bundle. We are happy with Uverse.

Hope you find something you like...Susie

Thanks everyone. I'll keep you all updated and let you know when we have found something better.

Straydog The UVerse thru AT&T sounds nice but we don't have a home phone and we have regular TV. We have a cell phone thru Net10. We pay $25 a month and get 750 minutes. We can get the internet on it, but it's hard to see a whole page because the phone is so little.

How much is the Verizon fios Snowbunny? I've seen commercials about it.

Thank you for the help. Love you all.

Loreatt you do not need a land phone for Unverse, we just kept ours because we have had it so many years. I use it mostly for calling my sisters long distance during the day time so I don't use up the peak minutes on our cell phones.

Loretta...The key with Verizon is that our neighborhood already has the underground cables....so when we decided to get the service...they just needed to tap into that. We have the entire package of TV, Internet, and Phone.

But it sounds like you all don't have cable TV.....so it's not worth getting Verizon if you only want internet. It's more expensive to only get one of the services.

Hopefully some others will come along with other suggestions that maybe one of us haven't thought of yet...

Sending you some hugs (( ))
