I have been gone for a long time, and I am sorry for my absence.

Who else is in a flare right now? LOL The days pass more slowly during the flares, but I am very lucky to have family support and stockpiles of easy-to-cook food for my husband's sake.

I have been reading all the new members posts, and for the ones I did not personally post on, welcome to the forum. Its great to have you, but I am sorry for the pain you are going through.

Sunday is the birthday party for my 2 sons, 13 and 14. We are going to a local state park lake, having swimming and dinner. I will have lots of help, which is nice, and the weather looks like it will cooperate. Please send prayers and good thoughts for the party.

Low pain days for everyone,
Mindy

Hello Mindy!

I'm going through one of those flairs now…and for the life of me do not know why. I had been doing well up to this point and have not had to use many BT med's. I was trying to make it a whole 30 days of not ordering anymore BT med's, but finally broke down today and put in an order…with my Dr appointment being 4 days away. I'm stumped at this point! shakehead

Don't you just hate it when you go into a pain flair for no reason at all! It's rather discouraging to say the least!

So are the birthdays on the same day? Sounds like fun and I'm sure the boys will enjoy the swimming. Supper out doors in the open air always seems to taste better too!
Happy Birthday to your boys too! yeah

Hope you get to feeling better very soon! By the way!…it's good to see you here too! wink

Hello Miss Mindy...

Good to see you here, too! :)

You are SO right. Time does move at a snail's pace when I'm in a flare w/ my health and pain. When I'm feeling better - time flies. Life is funny.

I know we've talked about this at some point - but how far apart are your boys? My oldest two are one year, one week apart. They just had their b-days in April/May. Anyway, Happy B-day to your boys. Oh yay - now you have 2 teenagers. I have 4 teenagers and, most days, want to shoot myself... I'm only half-joking. I love them dearly, as you know... and they ARE good kids... but they ARE teenagers! And, as I just told them all tonight - they say women are hormonal? Ummmm, teenage boys are just as hormonal as girls, haha.

Praying your flare passes, Mindy.... and that better days are ahead.

Sorry you are in a flare up sweetie :( I wish I could take all of our pain away, but unfortunately I can't. I would love just one day without pain, but who knows if that will ever happen.
I hope the birthday party is great and that you are feeling better by then. You already know that you are always in my prayers.
Take care sweet Mindy! xoxo
