Well, Here I am w/ my tail between my legs! It's been quite some time since I've posted anything here although I admit stopping by a few times to see how my old friends are doing?
Yes I am sorry and I do feel badly for not being around much! I don't have any great excuses except that ever since I started on Face book, it has taken over most of my avalable comp. time. Getting reaquanted w/ so many old friends and it's so hard to not answer them when they write me! It has become an almost full time job trying to keep up w/ it! Like I said, thats no excuse for forgetting my friends! No I didn't forget Y'all, just took a break is all but have never forgotten You in my prayers!!
So anyway, things have not been so good in Peteworld lately! Like so many of you, CP is taking over my life and I've almost given up the good fight! I won't bore You-all w/ the gorry details except it's the usual culprits that are taking their toll on this old body! I haven't had any new surgeries but that may be an option as I'm beaten down to the point that I'll try anything, even things I said I'd never do! So only time will tell! My biggest fear is that after posting here, I'll hear from an old friend who has done a Swan-dive into the Deep dark Pit we all know as CP and scored a #10 while I wasn't around just to be here for Her or Him!!!!
OK> Gotz to go to bed, this chair is killing me!! Still don't have a laptop like so many of Yuze Gize lying on your backs in bed posting away!
Know that I do love Y'all (You know who you are!) and care about everyone w/ CP problems cause No one knows what we go thu except US!!! Take care till I return.
Bang>Zoom> Wiz> Peteworld signing OFF!
When I was young & stupid I broke almost every bone in my body and I'm paying a heavy price now but I'm still here and so glad to see my two sons grow up to be fine young men, both are in the Navy. I'm so proud! My biggest health problem>> I'm a certified Luny~Tune!!

Hey Pete,

Good to see you here, lol. :)

Trust me... I try to remember life w/out the computer... all the "social media" etc. Life is so different. My kids do most of their school online.... read most books on a tablet/iPad... etc. I think it's all good for the most part - but it does take up a lot of time!

I'm w/ you on the CP thing.... but I'm sorry you are suffering so much. I really am....

Take care, my friend...

Hello Pete! yeah

Let me say!…it's awesome to see you here again! turn You bring a life to the board that few can match…I cant explain it, but you sure bring a lot of smiles to our faces with your fishing stories and humor. Even your sign-off at the end gives me a chuckle! tongue

Of course, many of us here have been following you on FB, and know quite well that your CP journey has become intense for you lately, and trust me when I say that we all feel badly for you. None of us like to see anyone suffer with CP and the type of pain s you are suffering from, but especially a close friend.

Pete you are full of compassion for others, and I think you would sacrifice yourself over doing the right thing for your body. I cannot tell you how much my wife and I enjoyed seeing seeing you there in Florida a couple of years ago…and we hope to make a return trip one of these days. It was a wonderful trip and the weather was perfect to boot. The only complaint I would have, was the fishing, …which of course was not your fault. I think the water was a bit cool yet for any good fishing to be had….especially in the middle of winter.

Pete!…you take care, and it is wonderful to see you here, and I know many of the newer members will enjoy visiting with you here.
