Hi everyone

I am still in hospital but just wanted to let you all know that my surgery went well and I am feeling pretty good, all things considered. This op was done by a newer method and I seem to have less pain than last time. I am mostly on bed rest, have been advised to take things very slowly. I am hoping to go home on Monday which will be great.

Pain wise I am very comfortable, I am on my fentanyl patch 75mcg and my OxyContin has been upped to 40 mgs twice daily and also my lyrica. It certainly seems to be working for me.

I am just glad it is all over now. Thank you for your messages of support before I came in to hospital, I appreciated all your kind words. Will post more once I am home and settled.

Good morning Jane!

Sounds like things went well for you there! wink …and most of all it seems that you are getting good coverage for your pain, and that is a real blessing!

Thank you for the update, and I hope your recovery stays on a good path! Please do take it easy, and don't try to do too much. Stay ahead of the pain curve, and walk as much as you feel like…but again don't over do it.

Take care!

Hello Miss Jane,
Just checking on you and seeing how you are doing today.... I hope you are continuing to get stronger each day... and that your healing is going well...
PLEASE don't overdo... that seems to be when things start going wrong w/ people on the board... when they feel a little better - and start doing too much.  Sorry, it must be the mommy
in me... but I do mean it in a very, caring way.
Check in and update us when you can.
Love, Tina
