All of the moderators here at HW have their e-mails available, just FYI.... In fact, we encourage members to e-mail us w/ questions/concerns - thus, leaving the forum free of these types of issues.
Take care --Tina"
Tina, I understand that being a moderator can be a thankless job and I'm sure you're all doing a great job. I fully support and appreciate you all.
All I am asking is for you to explain just what infraction I committed in my edited post to nervedamaged. Not only for me, but for the benefit of all forumers. Asking me to PM the admin is the internet equivalent of 'sending me to the principals office', don't you think?
Even the intended recipient, nervedamaged never saw the apparently offensive part that was edited so I guess we'll never know what may (or may not) have offended him/her.
"These types of issues" is vague in the extreme. If the infraction referred to my remarks on litigation then why not come out with a blanket statement to all that it a subject that can't be discussed? Myself and I'm sure most others will abide by that ruling. If we don't know what we can or cannot say then it's not our fault, and editing posts only evokes suspicion that you are trying to keep us in the dark.
I am currently 'on leave' from the UC forum for a similar reason that has at least in part been explained (basically at the whim of the admin.). The subject ( a mysterious herb) keeps getting brought up and discussed for several posts but is summarily locked as soon as it's discovered.
Censorship to a degree, can sometimes be a good thing if it prevents young people from being harmfully influenced by 'adult' matters. But when it denies people to share valid experiences that could help others then censorship becomes well...communistic, and I have a problem with that.
I know it won't matter to some people, (and for certain the admin) but I'll stay away from this thread, which I originated for a valid reason until further notice.
I wish to thank the many kind folks here who have empathized with my wife's unfortunate affliction and gave us a goldmine of information on which to ponder. Personally, me and her family just want the loving wife, mother, grandma, sister and friend, back to her old pain-free self.
