SB, that is so true. I think that's one (of the many) reasons, I like it here because I need reality checks. The standards of progression and care that I can objectively reason with regards to others turns on some kind of Klingon invisible cloaking device and I expect, "I'm different," and "I should be better than,...." I know how hamsters on a wheel feel. Hubby is awesome, when I whine (express discontent), he says: You do NOT know "how you should feel" by now! You've got a working spine and two working hips....they haven't figured out how to work together yet. Your body hasn't had proper working parts in what,....20 years?"
And then I hang my head like a scolded puppy because I just got pwnd. He's so right. You're so right. I at least had 11 months after my first hip replacement to recover before getting my back done.
Whew....(wiping sweat from brow). Thank you SB for that. I really like it and appreciate it when I can get these "check in's".
PS: I love that you mention your puppie in your sig! They're the best, aren't they?
EDIT: Woops, my bad. Forgot to reply: Regarding fever, yep, I know. My PCP said triple digits, call her. My ortho surgeon said 102, call him. Above 102, get my tookus to the ED pronto. My fever was 102.5. Currently my temp hasn't exceeded 99.8.
