My name is Angie and I am a new member as of today. I have been in chronic pain for 11 years. I am 37 years old with an ADR surgery in 2005. My option now from my PM doc (which is new to me... I have been going through my Ortho all of these years) is to go through with a SCS. I have been researching and seem to lean more towards Boston Scientific rather than Medtronic. Spinal/epidural/facet block injections do ABSOLUTELY NOTHING for me except make the pain 3x's worse to the point of being unable to walk and move around. I recently was also diagnosed with bursitis as well. I had a cortisone shot in my bursa for the first time on Oct 8th and I could barely walk for 3 weeks.
What is everyone's thoughts on which company is better, a faster process from start to finish (including trial, and actual surgery for the implant) and the screen process for SCS??
