Thank you so much for the hello Splash! I do have to admit I have lurked a few times to see how old friends were doing, but I haven't posted in quite a while. I hope things are going well for you!
As for myself, I must admit to many positives and some negatives. I've had several more medical issues, but I'm working on them & finally (yesterday) found a new PM!
I've been with the other one as long as I could stand!!! I finally found a new guy who seems very knowledgable and sensible! I hope I will continue to like him as much as we get to know each other, but I am thrilled to have FINALLY found someone. I never gave up trying and it took 5 years!!!!
Anyway, I don't want to hijack this thread so enough about
me. I just saw someone needing some info and support and my stim has been such a blessing to me that I could not help but to respond! I realize many here have not been as lucky with their stimulators, but mine gave me my life back & allows me to walk almost completely normal now. I will be eternally greatful for the wisdom of my neurosurgeon and the skill he used in implantation! I honestly believe the physician doing the implant plays such a major role and must be selected with the utmost caution. He and my wonderful reps have been great the whole time!
