Thank you everyone and bigecase, I hope you feel better very soon, so sorry that happened.
Can a pinched nerve be seen on any tests? Dr yesterday thought this might be the problem too. When I seemed to be moving okay (except neck) during his tests he said that was unusual to move but have all this pain, it makes me feel like I'm lying but I'm not :(
There's just something about
a chiropractor messing with my neck right now, the pain has been of the charts and if something goes wrong it's too later after the fact. Wish I had a crystal ball.
I was told by one Dr, when I told him I was nervous about
steroid injections, if you're hurting this much you will try anything otherwise people will not believe you, that kind of irked me, I don't just jump in to everything.
My old Dr who treated me since the accident was awful, waited and waited to do anything "you might have to live with the pain" was the answer for months, pain became much worse and finally sent me for MRI's so there wasn't a good trusting relationship there unfortunately.
My new Dr did mention seeing an Ortho but wanted to see what the Physiatrist said first, thing is the pain was originally in my neck and left shoulder (rotator cuff) but it's elsewhere now and moving to other places, last night my right toes had pain.
Would an Ortho do any tests to try to find out where the pain is coming from? it's all coming from somewhere and I guess I'm longing to know for sure and treat it, maybe that's not possible?
Thinking of going to my Dr and asking for the Ortho, what do you think? I'm at my whit's end. So difficult to know what to do and I feel nervous and feel like I'm telling a Dr what to do but I'm not at all, I just want help.
Hope everyone is okay.
