Hey Dixie.I'm taking a pretty low dose of Opana ER,10 mg,which is supposed to be equal to 20 mg Oxycontin.At that level I'd say I prefer the Opana because it seems to last longer.
It's different than Oxyconton,to me,anyways.Works more on my back than my head.
If that makes any sense.
My PMD writes me 2 mg Dilaudid x 4,so I may not be the best judge of it.
I usually take a Dilaudid from 5-5:30 am and then take the Opana 30 minutes later.Usually about
12 hrs later my back starts hurting.
They make Opana in 5,,10,20,30,and 40 mg.They ask me every month if I need a change.I moved from 5 to 10 and have decided to stay at 10 as long as I can.
I took Oxyconton 30 mg x 2 last year with no BT meds.It provided good pain relief,just didn't cover 24 hrs.
