Looking for information...
I have been having the worst time lately with my teeth. My poor, poor dentist was being driven crazy by my constant visits insisting that something was wrong with my teeth/fillings because there was this horrible pain that would come and go -- and would move from one tooth to the next. I am super blessed because other than sealing one tooth for sensitivity, he flat out refused to do any dental work.
Then 2 days ago the pain spread. It went behind my ear, in front of my ear, down my jaw, to the upper & lower teeth on the right side and more often than not, the whole right side of my face will turn bright red while this is happening. Fortunately, it never lasts more than 15 minutes, but the pain is just unbearable.
My PM sent me to the ER to rule out infection or anything super serious -- which was ruled out. The ER doc last night started me on Prednisone & my PM's office had said they would probably up my Lyrica so I took the 2nd tablet that my PM allows me when I'm in horrible pain plus Dilaudid. I got a good 6.5 hours of sleep, but the pain is back and honestly, I wish there was a way to chop off the right side of my face. It is so painful. I can't eat much of anything. I cannot stand to drink anything except water. Hopefully they come up with something when they open as far as meds go, but wondering if you all have any other tips that might work. The only advice I got on the hospital instructions was to avoid touching my face/jaw.
