Hi Vicki , my diagnosis came from othropedic, physical therapist, and chiropractor . I did buy a SI belt recently and it helps with walking , mopping. My joints are lax so I would be hypermobility issues. This started with pregnancy , when I felt my tailbone split in two, lol.
I then had an extremely painful labor with an emergency c-section . I also had the lax joints from the hormones when I nursed my babies. Ever since then I have had chronic pain SI joint and fibromyalgia .
A rheumatologist diagnosed my fibromyalgia . there are debates that fibro doesn't progress but my condition had got worse over the last 6 years. Does SI joint dysfunction progress?
