It's complicated but I have hip dysplasia from when I was born. I lived in Colorado where I was on norco..very minimal( 4-6 10mg) a week. Also was on medical marijuana where I took cbd pills. Then I moved to a non-medical marijuana state and had to use more norco and doctor kept pushing for long acting meds.. I've tried tramadol, nucynta, fentayl, morphine and finally the combo that worked for me without crazy side effects was oxymorphone 40mg at night with the always reliable norco 4-8 a day. Along with gabapentin and celexa. Well, I became pregnant in September, all was fine then in November the doctor said I couldn't take gabapentin, celexa, and wanted to switch the oxymorphone and norco to methadone. I had a very bad experience with methadone and said I didn't not want to.... She dropped me then and told me to get care elsewhere. Being off all those meds at once totally messed me up and its alot to put on a new doctor. I now have a new ob and am going to see a pain management doctor. I hope things can get straighted out...thanks for letting me vent.
