Hello friends. Thought I should drop in and give an update on my surgeries.
I have done very well post cervical artificial disc replacement. Range of motion is excellent. Pain free. Hard to believe it has been 9 months already.
Post lumbar microdiscectomy, I am pain free, but still have numbness in my big toe. It has been 3 months.
I am still on Coumadin from the pulmonary embolism.
Have had a flare up of the c7, t1, t2 area and am taking neurontin, naprosyn, and finished my medrol dose pack. The naprosyn is playing havoc with my Coumadin checks. Last report blood was too thin. So eating lots of leafy green veggies, and decreased Coumadin dosage.
I can not complain, I am in better shape than last year this time. Last year I was ready for euthanasia. My whole outlook is better, and am enjoying getting out and about. Matter of fact last Tuesday I was at the Strawberry Festival and saw Trace Adkins. I was acting like a teenager, lol.
Blessings to all, and a pain free week to everyone.
