Charteux:
My sincere condolences and gentle prayer.

I do not think we are ever ready to say goodbye to a loving parent. I lost my father two years ago and find myself wishing that I could talk to him and share as we did, father to daughter. I miss his wise counsel.

I hope that you can find comfort in the many memories of your mother. Identify something of hers that you keep with you as a way to keep her close to your heart. I kept my farher's soft leather billfold and ID card from when Army he was stationed at Fort Benny Georgia - and carry it in my over-the-shoulder bag as a means of keeping my father with me.

He in the sightful watch for any copper pennies on the sidewalk. Forklore has it that our departed love ones communicate with us by placing a penny in our pathway. It I see a spare penny on a sidewalk, I think to myself that it is my father saying "Hi." It makes me smile.

Know that your friends here in this forum care about you,
