Hi just wanting some advice/information about Hip Bursitis

I am 20 years old and I have given myself Hip Bursitis from falling off my skateboard multiple times.

The outside of my hip is very swollen still and it hurts to move it in any way.
I assumed that I had just bruised my hip and that it would come good in a couple of days but I have read some articles siting that it will take 6 weeks to clear up if rested.

Am I good to go to work and stand on it all day or will that stop it from healing?

Hi Trippy & welcome to Healing Well. I have an idea that you have not seen a dr for this. You need to see a dr & have an xray done of the hip to make sure there isn't a fracture or break internally. Repeated falls like this are not good. Surfing the internet to self diagnose is never a good idea, Dr. Google is never right. Do yourself a favor, see a dr ASAP. A dr can address what your activities should & should not be.

Take care.
