Hi.I've been taking Lyrics for13 years now,and I'm coming close to retiring soon, lyrica for the most part has worked well for me. A little weight gain,I'm on only 75 mg,but I feel lately it's not working. I want to slowly get off it,but I'm wondering does anyone know if its just hard or harder the longer you've taking lyrica or is it the disease. yeah yeah

Stormy, I think a slow taper is what is needed. It says on Drugs.com to not stop taking it. I know some people that have removed the beads inside the capsule of Cymbalta when tapering to ward off the withdrawals. I am not saying this is what you should do, just wanted to put that out there.

Good luck.

I took lyric back in the day for chronic head pain, I have nerve damage. I was up to 600mg.

Slow, slow taper my friend. Even at 75mg withdraw can be a nasty thing..

Call the prescribing doc and talk about this.

Peace
