I had a bone growth stimulator for about 9 months I think.

Bebbles, it really varies on the appts with drs. Each one has their own protocol on this. If things are progressing well without issues surgeons release the patient back to referring physician in a matter of months. When yours does this, he should tell you to contact his office if you have any problems. Never hesitate to contact his office. If he has a good nurse or NP, they can help with questions & talk to the dr on your behalf. If you are not satisfied with what they say, by all means request an appt asap.
