Greetings,

My 24 year old daughter has been suffering from chronic abdominal pain for over 6 years mainly in abdominal rum,
Which include:
1. A feeling of fullness
2. Significant swelling
3. Vomiting
4. Heartburn
5. And of course abdominal pain mainly in the rumen but also in the rest of the abdomen
She is also an FMF patient treated with 4 colchicine pills once a day on a daily basis.
In the past year we have been diagnosed with celiac disease on the basis of a blood test and a genetic test
HLA-DQ2 and HLA-DQ8
Which came out positive, the lactose test also came out positive,
That is, it consumes a diet that does not include lactose and gluten.
Previously underwent surgery to remove the appendix.
She also suffers from hypothyroidism treated with euthyrox pills on a daily basis, one day a dose of 50 and a daily dose of 100 and so it goes on.
The blood test results show that the gland is balanced, but ultrasound of the gland revealed findings:
Behind the right, a solid hypo-aqua structure was observed again, measuring 8 * 7 * 4 mm,
Suitable primarily for parathyroid adenoma.

Underwent gastroscopy twice which came out normal, abdominal ultrasound examination,
Which all came out fine with no findings.
Most blood tests are normal except for:
Amylase B = 111
LIPASE = 81.9
Amylase b and Lipase These values were released on 26.11.18
And then came out okay,
The rest are from the last tests on September 22, 2020.
immunoglobulin = 1800.1 mg
igG1 = 1044 mg
ASCA IgA = 34.6
ASCA IgG = 57.6
Vitamin B12 - greater than 1000ml
Although she does not take B12 supplements.
Abdominal photo showed, ship Bifida S1.

On examination by a doctor, only epistemic sensitivity was found.
At the same time she is trying to lose weight with a balanced diet monitored by a dietitian,
The menu includes between 1200-1300 calories but the weight gets stuck no matter how meticulous it is and also adds sporting activity it fails to lose weight.
On the menu for over a year and there is no change in weight with very serious adherence to the menu.
Weighs 76.5 and the height is 1.63.

She suffers from constipation and takes a liquid magnesium suspension, one tablespoon each evening.

The doctor gave her treatment with the following pills:
Lusk, Encyclopaedia, Crohn's, Cultal, Altrolt, Nexium, SPASMALGIN
ICHTAMOL ONIT 14GR.

These drugs aggravated the symptoms and did not cause the slightest relief.

I would love to hear your opinion,
Desperate mother.

Hello & welcome to the forum. I did some digging around & read about Colchicine being used for FMF. What I read said the dosage was 1-2 tablets per day. Have you looked into the side effects of this medication, gi distress is listed, perhaps something to look into.

What type of dr recommended the drugs you listed at the end of your post? I tried looking them up & found nothing. Has she been tried on any other PPI besides Nexium?

She seems to have a lot going on to be so young for sure. Is there a university type hospital close that she could try to get into. If so, this would be a good choice to have a complete workup.

Take care.
