I have no colon and experience abdominal pain as a result. I have had multiple obstructions in my small intestine and lately have had severe abdominal pain- the doc has done an MRI and found nothing but I have still had pain. I also have kidney stones but that isn’t causing the pain either. Maybe it’s adhesions from the surgery, I’ll, but the pain is pretty bad. I’m laying in bed with a heating pad on my stomach right now while my 2 year old daughter is downstairs with my husband.
My big concern is that there is a bigger issue with my small intestine. I have an appt with my gastro doc on Sept 15 but I just have to wait it out until them. I’m miserable and just hoping I wake up without pain. I also can’t be there for my family or my daugther. My husband has to take the main caretaker role for my daughter and it sucks! I’m not one to just sit back and not do anything!
I’m also recovering from brain aneurism surgery that I had last week - they found this from a random MRI when checking bc I was having a lot of headaches. So yea, I feel like I’m always complaining and things just suck. I get frequently headaches after That surgery and with the stomach pain on top of that. It’s just really had to predict what my days are going to be like.
Right now I’m at home contemplating if I should call the doctor on a Sunday bc my pain is bad enough. I don’t want to go to the ER bc they tell me it’s not a bowel obstruction (which is what is usually is), so it’s most likely adhesions from the previous surgery. Nothing they can do about that other than live with it. Oh, and take Tylenol bc I can that NSAIDS. 🤦♀️
My insurance company actually called the other day to offer to enroll me in a Care program where a nurse called me every other week to go over my medication and check in. Why? Bc I’m running up too many bills for them! I’m sorry but I know all my medications and I’m on top of things. I just can’t seem to get better. I’m sorry!
