OHHHHH what a day.... I went to the doctor who did the surgery on my back on the 7th of this month and he gave me sample Celebrex 200mg and 1 more (the last) script of pain meds.  I was upset by the time I left and I don't remember what he said about taking the Celebrex.  I read the info in the sample and it stated twice a day which I did and too the last one today.  So, I called the office today and asked the nurse to call me back, I'm not calling for pain meds, I was calling to see if I could get more Celebrex or if I could get  something else.  I was told the Celebrex was to be taken once a day and she fused at me about that, then stated that he would NOT give me any more pain meds, and that I need to be exercising and walking.  Which I told her again that I cant walk, and she was like "What are you in a wheel chair", and I told her no for the um-teenth time, I cant walk due to the calfs on both my legs cramp.  I've been told I have compartment syndrome. Basicly I'm on my on is the way I felt when I hung up from the witch.  (Being nice :(.... NOT) So I'm gonna look and see if I can find something about yoga, I was just wondering if anyone had any suggestions.

Thanks for letting me vent again, seems thats all I do any more.....:(

Dear Trouble,

Sorry to hear about your dr. visit.  One thing to know about cramping is usually potassium helps with that (bananas) are a great help.  Also another thing to use is sesame oil, it can usually be found at the grocery store, you want the light color oil.  The sesame oil helps with inflammation, spasms etc.  All you have to do is massage it into your legs, leave it on for 15 mn to a half hour and massage your legs and stretch if you can.  This can be done once or twice daily, when your done take a shower and wash off and your good to go.  Just make sure if you want to massage your feet as well, wash them before getting into the shower, because it is slippery and you don't want to fall and cause yourself more issues.  My rheumatologist recommended this when I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia.  If you have trouble finding the oil it is also used in indian cooking, if there are india grocery stores it can be found there.  Good luck to you, I hope this helps.  Keep positive.

Take care,

Afloat
