Hi Caren,

We have lots of people with experience trying Lyrica. I had problems with side effects but others love it. So a search of this forum and you'll find several threads discussing Lyrica.

I take it and I have not noticed any side effects at all. I never could tell I was taking it. Same with nuerontin, no matter how high my dose went. I think that the lyrica helps my headaches some, but only to a minimal extent. So in my opinion I say there is definitely no reason not to try lyrica because it may help and for me it had zero side effects.

There is currently a fairly lengthy thread about people's experiences with Lyrica.

I have taken it and for me it seems like I build up a tolerance to it very quickly.  I had to take a good healthy dose (450 mg) to get pain relief, and at first it did help quite a bit.
For side effects,  like any drug there are initial side effects that go away (diziness, etc).   Persistent side effects I experienced were constipation and really watery, dry eyes.  I finally decided the minimal pain relief i was getting didn't outway the side effects for ME.
