Hi razzle,
I switched from methadone (80mg a day) to Opana ER (20mg every 8 hr.) about 3 months ago. It took my body about a week to adjust and I am very glad I did! The side effects from methadone were really bothering me, hot flashes, trouble urinating, weight gain, etc. How much are you taking? I hope you have as much success as I did. Good luck!

Ah Razzle, will keep you in my prayers. I sure hope you get the benefit Tina did. Jeez, I can relate to the nasty side effects from meds, it happened so much with me thats one of the reasons my pain dr wanted me to have a pump. Hang in there.
