Where I'm at now

<!-- / icon and title --><!-- message -->
Since I posted my last MRI and asked for comments, a lot has happened. Not back related, actually alot more serious.

To re-cap, I have 3 levels of disc related problems, 2 levels of spinal stenosis, scolisosis, facet hypertrophy and I wear a 100 mcg Fentanyl patch (recently got the ok to change every 48 hours) and take up to 4 30 mg Roxicodone for b/t.

Well, I was constantly getting chills. Despite living in South Florida, I wear 3 shirts and 2 jackets at a time all day. Blood test showed anemia, elevated sed rate and elevated C-RP rate. I was feeling tired, chills, slight loss of appetite, itching, bloody noses. The worst symptom is when I get this weird deep down feeling of aches and pains. I looked it up-it is called malaise. A week ago Friday I felt awful the whole day. Looked in mirrir and I had the infamous Lupus mask around the botom of my eye and on the bridge of my nose. As a result, my next appointment with the hemotologist was moed up from January to this Wednesday. I also notice that I am getting some bad upper back pain as opposed to the usual lower back pain.

So, we will see where this goes. I know I have a ton of arthritis and in fact, my GP has given me a dx of Psoriatic Arthritis (obviously I have psoriasis, too).

Well, I'm 49 so at least I will join AARP next year!
