Crohnie - has your pain doctor taken into consideration that some of your pills might not be getting properly digested with all the missing parts? A time released pill obviously isn't going to work as well if it goes through you a lot quicker than an average person. For example - due to my recent gastric bypass I cannot take any pill whole for a long time, and was told that my vitamins will always have to be chewable or they will not get into my system properly. People with Crohns have differnt amounts of insides missing and that could be your problem. You may want to see about
something that could be dissolved under your tongue, gotten in liquid form, or something that wouldn't be dangerous to crush.
Whatever you do - do NOT crush, cut or in any way mess wth your morphine pill - since it's time released doing so could cause you to overdose very quickly and possibly kill you. (I'm just adding this in case you didn't know already)
