FOODS TO ELIMINATE
1. dairy except yogurt
2. all refined foods (sugar, flour, etc.)
3. all processed foods (too much of the above, not enough nutrient value)
4. pork, shellfish, etc.
5. probably forgetting something...!

DIETARY SUPPLEMENTS
1. probiotics
2. omega 3s (we use cod liver oil naturally high in antioxidants A, D3 and E, and enteric coated fish oil)
3. calcium w/D3
4. iron, multi vit/min
5. fresh veggie juice from juicer! It's amazing!

Just going to give my top list (don't think there is five)

Foods to eliminate (during bad flares primarily)
1. Uncooked fruits & vegetables (bananas are the only exception...all other, especially root veggies have to be almost baby food)
2. Fibrous grains (especially oats, brown rice...normally these are my favourite)
3. Pork (at all times...like bacon, but it has never liked me)
4. Sugar/high carbs (bit sugar sensitive due to prednisone)
5. Sucralose...CAN'T STAND THE STUFF....MAKES ME HURT SOOOOOOOOOO BAD. Hard to find sugar free things without it though. kinda ticks me off.

Supplements
1. Calcium
2. Probiotics
3. Supervitaboost (multivitamin)

I take other supplements, but not sure if they all work.

Hey FitzyK23

The probiotic I use (primadophilus reuteri) aids with lactose intolerance, I was severe and now I don't have to use lactaid pills anymore...it also aids with high cholesterol if you have that issue, if not it's still fine to use and it aids with vaginal health for women.

Just thought I'd share this with you because you mention you're lactose intolerant and I don't see you listing probiotics as part of your daily regime...it's suggested to take them while flaring and while in remission as well.

:)
