Hello Everybody!
I was diagnosed with Crohn in Nov 2007, I was in the hospital since 01/24/2008 to take the intravenous medicines because I was vomiting everything I ate, including the meds , Left the hospital in 02/02/2008, now  I am taking 60mg of Prednisone, 800mg Flagyl and 1500mg of Pentasa.
While at the hospital I was feeling better, I did not have diarrhoea and the pains were off, however I am a little worried, since the last time I went to bathroon was on 02/04/2008 - monday - and today is friday and no BM at all, besides the pain backed and with it the nausea and vomiting.
I call and call my GI, but here in Brazil is carnival week- meaning the country literally stops until next monday.
You guys that have more experience than me, Should I be worried about this 96-hours without any BM??

If you are having nausea and vomiting, then you should go to the hospital.  While it's not uncommon for CD's to have chronic constipation - sometimes lasting 7-14 days - if there's vomiting going on, then you need medical attention immediately.

DX: mild to moderate Crohn's for 34 years
Additional benefits: chronic anemia, B12 deficient, peripheral neuropathy, facial mylagsia, joint pain, underactive thyriod
Current meds: Colozal, Nexium, Entocort, Flagyl, steriod cream, monthly B12 injections, Neurontin, Synthroid, Effexor ER, pain meds as needed

Vernoica - do you have a stricture or narrowing of your bowel? Have they mentioned this? If you are vomiting and have pain, this could be a sign of a partial or total obstruction. I agree with the others that you should get this checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Please let us know how you are doing, ok?
