I keep getting a bad pain in my mid gut, right hand side.  Anyhow it will get worse and I feel like I might be getting the big "D" then it kind of stops...then it comes on again.
What do you think it could it be?

Any problems with your gallbladder as you could be having referred pain, or it could be your Crohn's kicking up. Is the pain like gas pains ? Just a few ideas.

Nope. You are NOT paranoid! Just sensible and listening to your body. Think back on what you've eaten the last two days. Raw veggies? A lot of fiber? Didn't chew something as well as you usually do or should have? Nuts? Fruit w/skin still on it? Anything w/seeds in it like tomatoes or stewed tomatoes? Lettuce? Popcorn?

Ease up on what you eat the next couple of days. Easy to digest, soft foods. LOTS of liquids.

IF the pain persists, or if it gets REALLY bad OR you can't pass gas or poop its time to call your gastro. Meanwhile go to a liquid diet until you can talk to or see your gastro. AND if your gastro can't get you in in a timely manner and the PAIN REALLY gets bad, to heck w/your gastro, head to ER.

Most like the first "remedy" will handle the situation for you.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Not paranoid in the least!

Thanks for all your replies!

I am starting to feel better.  I have been drinking more and not eating very much.  I'll stick to soft foods the next couple of days for sure and take it easy!
