Out of curiosity, once Crohn's is either diagnosed or suspected, how often do you have to get a routine colonoscopy?

it often depends on your gastro and thier I tend to get every two years. But for everyone it seems to differ depending on thier doctor, or thier symptoms and necessity for it (if things flare up, you may need one sooner then later and such), its mostly your personal gastro doctors preference for things.

My doc said that if I go into remission, I can wait until every 5 years, but if I have problems then it will be sooner. Hope this helps

Plus after you have had diagnosed disease for 15-18 years it is recommended that you have scopes every 2-3 years for colon cancer screening, especially if you have colonic involvement and ulceration.
